Jim Jones isn’t holding out hope for a reunion with his longtime Dipset partner, Cam’ron. During an interview with Ebro Darden on Rap Life Radio for Apple Music, Jones addressed their rocky relationship, which has played out online in recent weeks.

“I don’t want people to think I’m going back and forth, I’m just telling my truth,” Jones explained. “In terms of me telling my truth, people feel they need to have a rebuttal… let them do it.” He made it clear that he doesn’t see this as a battle, despite the ongoing public exchanges.

When asked if there was still a brotherhood between them, Jones shut down the idea. “Nah, it’s definitely no brotherhood. The brotherhood been over damn near since [The Diplomats]. That was where the brotherhood was at.” As for whether they could make amends, he didn’t seem optimistic. “Not right now. Not something I could foresee, but who knows,” he said. “Right now it’s about me. I ain’t got time to focus on nothing else and no one else.”

Their latest fallout began when Cam’ron invited 50 Cent on his show, Talk With Flee, and the two discussed Jones. Jones later fired back in a conversation with Justin Laboy, saying, “Them n***as ain’t got nothing else to think about but Capo. I did a lot for them n***as in their life, ya heard?”

Cam then took shots at Jones on It Is What It Is, questioning his Harlem roots, his role in Dipset’s success, and the possibility of a reunion. In response, Jones dropped a diss track aimed at Cam, adding more fuel to their already heated feud.
