John Legend is hitting the road!
The EGOT winner has announced that he will be coming to a town near you on his “Get Lifted 20th Anniversary Tour.”
Taking to Instagram, Legend shared the exciting news with his followers.
“I’m so excited to announce that I’m heading back on the road for the Get Lifted 20th Anniversary Tour! Join me and my band for an unforgettable performance of the entire Get Lifted album—the album that introduced me to the world—plus a few favorites from my career that *all of you* know and love.”

“Let’s celebrate 20 amazing years of Get Lifted together,” Legend continued.
Released on December 28, Get Lifted was Legend’s debut album and garnered critical acclaim and commercial success. Legend went on to receive eight Grammys at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards in 2006 winning Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for “Ordinary People,” Best R&B Album for Get Lifted, and coveted Best New Artist.
Featuring production from Kanye West and Legend himself, Get Lifted spawned several hit singles “Used to Love U,” “Ordinary People,” “Number One” and “So High.”
Along with the world tour, Legend is commemorating the 20th anniversary of Get Lifted, with the release of Get Lifted (20th Anniversary). The project will include “eight new remixes, rare B-sides, and two previously unreleased studio performances that were originally recorded 20 years ago.” Tems, Killer Mike & Lil Wayne, Simi, and Black Thought are featured in the deluxe edition.
