Jonathan Majors’ domestic trial is met with a delay.

The domestic violence case he’s on trial for got pushed back due to deficiencies in discoveries. The prosecution was ready for trial, but the judge felt the case needed to undergo more review. The judge set another hearing for September 15 to set a new trial date.

On the last hearing on August 3, Jonathan’s rumored boo, Meagan Good was by his side. In March, the ex-girlfriend of the Creed III actor accused him of pulling her finger and twisting her arm behind her back. He was charged with strangulation, assault, and harassment. Jonathan’s legal team denies any wrongdoing and says they have evidence to prove their client is innocent.

Around the time of the accusations, Jonathan was dropped from several projects such as an ad campaign for the Texas Rangers MLB team. In addition, he lost out on the opportunity to star in an upcoming film adaptation of Walter Mosley’s 2004 novel The Man in My Basement that he was also expected to executive produce, People reports.

He also couldn’t attend the Met Gala. Jonathan may have to build a new team as his manager, Entertainment 360, and publicist, The Lede Company, cut ties with him months ago.

The two actors sparked dating rumors in May. They were spotted out on several dates, like Red Lobster, and a trip to Morocco. Jonathan also reportedly spent Meagan’s birthday with her, but the two haven’t publicly spoken about their alleged relationship.

Meagan’s ex-husband, DeVon Franklin, recently shared his opinion on Meagan’s new rumored boo. DeVon said, “If she’s happy, that’s a blessing.” He admitted he cried himself to sleep over the divorce. After nine years of marriage, they quietly called it quits and divorced in 2021.

Hopefully, everything works out!
