Juelz Santana recently weighed in on the escalating feud between his longtime collaborators Cam’ron and Jim Jones.

Speaking with The Art of Dialogue, Juelz shared his perspective on the rift, urging fans to avoid fueling division while reflecting on his role as a neutral party in the conflict. He also critiqued podcast culture, suggesting it has played a significant role in intensifying tensions within the rap community.

“People always have favorites, even within groups,” Juelz explained, addressing how fan allegiances can deepen divides. “It’s always been like that. But when the group clashes, people want to take sides, and that’s where the problem begins. If you really want to see Dipset move as one, don’t take sides. Whether you prefer Cam or Jim, this is Dipset.”

Despite the growing animosity, Juelz made it clear he has no interest in stoking the fire. “When you see them going at it, the egging on and all that—it’s not me. I’m not going to be the one to make it worse,” he said. “I don’t even know if I’m the one who could resolve it, but I’ll definitely avoid adding to it.”

Juelz also pointed to the rise of podcast culture as a catalyst for the ongoing friction, indirectly referencing how the feud began. “Not everyone wants their name brought up in interviews, but now these platforms exist where people ask those questions,” he said. “It’s a thin line. Jim’s name was mentioned, so of course, that opens the door for him to respond. That’s what these podcasts do—they create moments, but those moments have consequences.”

The tension between Cam’ron and Jim Jones reignited after Jim’s remarks in a recent interview addressed comments Cam made on his podcast It Is What It Is. Cam responded by accusing Jim of being “fanned out” by his and Ma$e’s early success with Children of the Corn and claimed Jim “begged” to be part of their movement. The feud has since spilled into music, with Jim teasing two diss tracks aimed at Cam, likely set for his forthcoming album.

Reflecting on the situation, Juelz Santana offered a nuanced perspective. “Jim carried it his way, and Cam carried it his way. Now, here we are,” he remarked. “I’ve always been like the little brother in all of this. What I can say is that Jim and Cam have always been competitive. But now, that competitiveness is directed at each other, and this is where it’s brought them.”

As tensions linger, Juelz’s call for unity underscores his loyalty to Dipset’s legacy, even as his bandmates drift further apart.
