Award-winning singer Justin Timberlake’s 2027 plans may mark the start of his next era in new music after 2024’s Everything I Thought It Was.

The singer is reportedly preparing new music and a world tour for 2027. The project could be titled “The Next Move,” according to a new report.

The buzz arrives after Timberlake made a surprise return to the stage in Miami. He joined Don Toliver during the performance, giving fans another glimpse of the pop veteran in concert.

According to Showbiz411, sources claim Timberlake has started building what could become his most ambitious project yet. The reported tour could begin as soon as March 2027.

If the plans materialize, the album would follow Timberlake’s 2024 LP, “Everything I Thought It Was.” The album had a modest commercial run compared with his earlier releases.

His Forget Tomorrow World Tour told a different story. The trek sold more than one million tickets before receiving an extension.

A 2027 return would also come after a challenging period for Timberlake. In 2025, he revealed his Lyme disease diagnosis.

Timberlake said the condition caused significant pain and fatigue during performances. He also acknowledged uncertainty about his future onstage.

Now, the prospect of new music suggests Timberlake may be ready for another chapter.

Still, plenty remains unknown. Timberlake has not confirmed “The Next Move,” the album or the reported tour.

Longtime collaborator Timbaland could potentially have a role in the project. An *NSYNC reunion also remains a question mark.

Joey Fatone recently indicated that an *NSYNC reunion was not happening anytime soon.

For Timberlake, however, the focus appears to be forward. His career has crossed pop, R&B and dance music for more than two decades.

A March 2027 tour would give him time to shape the music and develop a new live production.

Until Timberlake speaks, “The Next Move” remains just a report. Yet the possibility of 2027 music has already given fans something new to anticipate.

If the plans become reality, Timberlake could enter 2027 with fresh music, a global tour and a new creative chapter.
