Kanye West’s interviews have long been a spectacle, but his latest conversation with DJ Akademiks pushed even further into controversy. Dressed in a black KKK robe with a pointed hood, West delivered a stream of disjointed statements, including incendiary remarks about his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

At one point, Akademiks addressed West’s ongoing public grievances over co-parenting his four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. West has repeatedly accused Kim of exerting full control over their upbringing. When Akademiks suggested that West refuses to take accountability for his role in the fractured family dynamic, the rapper unexpectedly agreed before making a stunning admission.

“That was my fault,” West admitted. “I didn’t want to have children with this person after the first two months of being with her, but that wasn’t God’s plan.”

Kim and Kanye were married for six years before finalizing their divorce in 2022. Since then, West has used social media to air grievances about their co-parenting struggles, often provoking backlash.

During the interview, Kanye West also defended one of his most controversial online statements—his inflammatory post questioning the intelligence of Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s children. He claimed the post might have been his “best or the strongest” when compared to his widely condemned Nazi rhetoric, an assertion that left even Akademiks visibly uneasy.

West’s recent actions have only fueled growing concern. He has openly praised Adolf Hitler and voiced full support for the Nazi party, positioning himself further outside the realm of mainstream acceptance. As his rhetoric intensifies, the question remains—how much further will he go?
