Kanye West has reportedly issued a legal notice to his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, “concerning the welfare and custody of Mr. West’s minor children: North West, Saint West, Chicago West, and Psalm West.”
According to reports, the notice alleges that Kardashian violated their joint custody agreement by allowing their 11-year-old daughter, North, to be left unattended in a vehicle during the 2025 Met Gala and by exposing her to excessive media attention. Kanye reportedly says Kim is exploiting North for “personal or commercial gain” by posting online content of her at public events. He says this “disregards his joint custodial rights and his stated opposition to his children’s public exposure.”
The notice also claims that West’s access to the children has been unfairly restricted, alleging he hasn’t seen his son Saint in 2025 and has had limited interaction with North, Chicago, and Psalm.
Sources close to Kim states that West has not been denied access to the children but has rarely requested visits.
This latest development adds to the ongoing public tension between the former couple, who finalized their divorce in 2022 after eight years of marriage. Both parties have previously voiced differing views on parenting and privacy, and this situation appears to reflect ongoing disagreements.
