R&B singer Kehlani has spoken of a possible tour with award-winning entertainer Teyana Taylor into existence while promoting her new self-titled album.

In a recent interview with Complex, Kehlani reflected on how live performance has evolved across R&B and pop. “Performance style has just changed so much,” she said.

Within that landscape, she identified Taylor as a defining presence. “She just gives 110% to everything that she’s doing,” Kehlani added, praising the performer’s intensity and commitment.

Taylor has long built a reputation for high-energy choreography and theatrical execution, qualities that have set her apart on tour and at major events. Kehlani’s admiration signals more than surface-level respect.

“It’s probably the thing I admire about her the most,” she said, before turning inward. “If I could take a little bit of that and give it to myself… have less thoughts and lose myself in it more.”

The comment offers insight into Kehlani’s current artistic mindset. She emphasizes presence over precision, suggesting a desire to move more freely onstage. That approach reflects a broader shift among performers who balance vocals, movement, and emotional storytelling in real time.

R&B Singer Kehlani Expressed Interest In A Joint Tour With Teyana Taylor

Kehlani then took the conversation a step further, extending a direct invitation. “I adore her… Teyana, if you ever want to go on a joint tour, f*** yeah, what the hell?”

The moment landed as both candid and strategic, hinting at potential collaboration beyond recorded music. Kehlani and Teyana Taylor were recently spotted among the celebrities enjoying this year’s Coachella.

The two artists have previously worked together, and a joint tour would build on that foundation. A shared run could blend Kehlani’s vocal-driven sets with Taylor’s dynamic staging, offering a hybrid live experience rooted in R&B and performance art.

For now, no tour has been announced. Still, Kehlani’s comments underscore both admiration and ambition, positioning Taylor as a benchmark while leaving the door open for a future partnership.
