Classic sitcoms are making their way back to streaming services and it’s pretty exciting.
There’s been chatter over the years about bringing ‘The Proud Family‘ back to television. Earlier this year, Disney announced that the popular series would return but revamped to ‘The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.’
The storyline will still have the original crew, Penny Proud and her family plus her friends, Dijonay Jones, LaCienega Boulevardez, Zoey Howzer and more. Keke Palmer announced she’ll be joing the cast, playing the role of a 14-year-old activist named Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins. Keke shared the news via Instagram, take a look:

The show aired from 2001-2005 and ended with, The Proud Family movie. No official date has been announced for the show, but we’ll keep you updated.
