Cardi B’s inner circle is pushing back against online speculation after Stefon Diggs did not spend Christmas Day with the rapper and their newborn son. The NY Post reported on Sunday (Dec. 29) a clarification from Cardi B’s longtime best friend, Ken Barbie, who addressed the chatter directly on social media.
Ken Barbie, born Ken Davis, framed the situation as a matter of co-parenting logistics rather than romantic tension. His comments followed widespread discussion about blended families, boundaries, and Diggs’ role as a father to multiple children.
“Cardi has her own kids. Stefon does too,” Ken wrote, referencing Cardi B’s three children: Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1.
He explained that shared parenting arrangements often dictate holiday plans more than public expectations.
Ken added that some co-parents set firm conditions around holiday gatherings. Those boundaries, he suggested, deserve respect regardless of celebrity status. “If baby moms say the kids can’t come unless they’re there, that’s what it is,” he wrote, noting that children should not be placed around unresolved tension.
The blogger also responded to renewed attention around Diggs welcoming multiple children within a short period. He dismissed the coverage as old news repackaged for outrage. “None of this is new,” Ken wrote. “People been talking about these kids all year. Why act shocked now?”
Ken stressed that Diggs choosing to spend Christmas with his children mattered more than appearances. According to him, skipping time with them would have been far more troubling.
“If Stefon didn’t spend the holiday with his kids, that would be insane,” he added.

He also made clear where Cardi B stands. Ken said the Grammy winner would never support a partner who ignored parental responsibilities. Her fame, he emphasized, does not override her values.
On Christmas Day, Diggs shared moments with several of his children on social media. He posted photos holding his infant son with K’yanna Barber and cuddling his daughter with Cayy Benji. He also shared a video dancing with his two-year-old daughter, Shiloh, whom he shares with Kennedy.
Later, Diggs reposted a photo of Cardi holding their newborn son at her home, signaling unity despite spending the holiday apart.
Cardi B and Diggs sparked romance rumors in February and confirmed their relationship in June. In September, Cardi announced her pregnancy amid her ongoing divorce from Offset.
Diggs is also the father of Aileen Lopera’s child, confirmed last month following a paternity filing. He additionally shares a nine-year-old daughter, Nova, born in 2016.
