Lil Baby Responds To Kendrick Lamar Name-Dropping Him On ‘Not Lie Us’

Lil Baby reacts to Kendrick Lamar mentioning him in his hit single “Not Like Us.”

In a recent interview, Baby discussed the widely talked-about Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar rivalry. “I’m not really into that side of hip-hop,” Lil Baby explained.

Even though Lil Baby wasn’t part of the “beef,” Kendrick Lamar still name-dropped him in his track “Not Like Us.” On the song, K. Dot raps, “Let me break it down for you, this the real nigga challenge / You called Future when you didn’t see the club (Ayy, what?) / Lil Baby helped you get your lingo up (What?).”

In response to the mention, the Atlanta rapper expressed, “I don’t really… You know. [Me and Drake have a] great relationship. Great relationship. It’s just with any situation, like, if you and him was arguing, why the hell you gon’ say me, you know? I don’t be having nothing to do with it. […] To me, like, rap and s**t be my work. It’s, like, I don’t want that type of s**t at work. Even with you saying, like, ‘What’s your relationship with Gunna?’ I ain’t in it for that type of s**t, you know what I’m saying? I ain’t on that.”

Snoop Dogg On Kendrick Lamar:

Aside from Lil Baby, Kendrick also name-dropped Snoop Dogg on his album “GNX.”

On the song “wacced out murals” Dot rapped, Snoop posted ‘Taylor Made,’ I prayed it was the edibles/ I couldn’t believe it, it was only right for me to let it go,” he raps, indicating that he has since gotten over the perceived slight.

“Taylor Made” is Drake’s controversial diss song towards Lamar, which featured AI-generated vocals from Snoop Dogg and 2Pac.

Snoop responded to the bar, “K dot new album GNX! It was the edible! west west king..”
