Lil Durk faces mounting legal troubles as a wrongful death lawsuit accuses him of orchestrating a hit on rapper Quando Rondo, allegedly resulting in the fatal shooting of Rondo’s cousin. The lawsuit mirrors criminal charges he currently faces in connection with the August 2022 murder of Lul Pab, born Saviay’a Robinson.

Prosecutors claim Durk Banks, known professionally as Lil Durk, ordered the killing as retaliation for the 2020 murder of King Von, a close affiliate of his Only The Family (OTF) collective. Filed on behalf of Robinson’s family, the lawsuit states his vehicle was ambushed near West Hollywood on August 19, 2022, while he was driving with Rondo. According to the complaint, gunmen targeted them near the Beverly Center, firing multiple rounds into the passenger side. Robinson suffered critical injuries and died shortly after arriving at a nearby hospital.

“The premature loss of Mr. Robinson has devastated his family and community,” said family attorney Warren Postman. “We filed this lawsuit to hold those responsible accountable and ensure his loved ones receive the support they need.”

The lawsuit alleges the defendants engaged in illegal activities, including murder for hire, leading to wrongful death. Robinson’s family seeks damages for their loss. Meanwhile, a judge denied Lil Durk’s bond request last December, citing him as a flight risk and a danger to the public. His attorneys had proposed an extensive bond package, including a $2.3 million property bond, $1 million in cash from Sony Music, and strict monitoring conditions.

Prosecutors have linked him to multiple murders, including allegedly financing a murder-for-hire scheme in response to his brother’s 2021 killing. A newly unsealed indictment claims he arranged the 2022 killing of alleged Gangster Disciples leader Stephon Mack and continued offering money for hits on rival gang members.
