Lil Duval found himself at the center of online debate over the weekend, after reacting to the breakup between Megan Thee Stallion and NBA star Klay Thompson. The split became public after Megan posted a detailed Instagram Story accusing Thompson of infidelity and emotional strain during their relationship.

In her message, Megan wrote, “Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… Got ‘cold feet.’ Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’???? Bitch, I need a REAL break after this one.. Bye y’all.”

He followed with, “I knew Klay Thompson was a real n**** 😂,” then added, “Meg next album should be called ‘I might be the problem.’”

The framing quickly sparked backlash across social media, with users calling the remarks dismissive and misogynistic.
