Lil Tjay isn’t letting Offset off the hook when it comes to a lingering loan dispute. The New York rapper recently took to Instagram, seemingly addressing Offset in a bold caption. Alongside pictures of himself in the studio and flaunting his jewelry, he wrote, “I could never be broke like set running off making smoke over lunch money… ima have ta smoke on a hunnit streams for it get to all that 😭😭🤦🏾‍♂️ but yeaaa free smoke tomorrow for 🥷🏽s.”

Offset quickly responded, challenging Tjay to settle things publicly. “@liltjay let’s hit on live I’ll fly to you this ain’t gone stop ya fell off allegations,” he wrote. He followed up with, “Meet me [in New York] and give me a one on live.” Fans were entertained by the back-and-forth, with one commenting, “Betting it all on Set 😂🤙,” while another joked, “Rappers need to start getting in the UFC cage at this point.”

This isn’t the first time the two have clashed over money. Back in January, Tjay first called Offset out, saying, “Ngl ima smack the sh*t out you.” Offset fired back, “Lol huh u joking right. Just seen this pop up gotta be the wrong ninja u texting boy I’ll smoke you. U barely lived already who tf you think you talking to ninja.”

Tjay later explained on Twitch that Offset allegedly borrowed $10,000 from him to gamble and never paid it back. “Offset broke. I seen the n**** in the casino. He was popped, he was panicking,” Tjay claimed, adding, “Word to my mother, this n****’s ducked me for so long.” He also hinted at Offset possibly having a gambling problem, saying, “I see like 13 bands in loans.”

For now, Offset seems ready to settle things, but it’s not the resolution Lil Tjay is looking for.
