Hollygrove is headed to Kansas City this May, as it has been announced that Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz will headline the return of Super Bowl champ Travis Kelce’s 2nd annual Kelce Jam music festival.
Presented by Jim Beam, Kelce’s personal festival arrives after he secured his third Super Bowl championship with the Kansas City Cheifs in February. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday (April 2), the tight-end discussed the upcoming festival and praised his girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, for her amazing support.
Kelce’s festival on May 18th at The Azura Amphitheater is expected to be the most exciting event of 2024 after last year’s sold-out festival with over 20,000 fans headlined by MGK.
This year’s lineup also includes Grammy-winning DJ Diplo and superstar DJ Irie. The festival will have local restaurant pop-ups and major brands like Levi, Medium Rare, Cash App, Uber Eats, Visa, and more.
“Kansas City, Kelce Jam is back baby!,” said Travis. “I’m excited to once again welcome fans for the ultimate day of music, food, and an electric experience celebrating Kansas City. Last year you exceeded my expectations when over 20,000 fans showed up in the rain to ‘fight for your right to party,’ and this year promises to be even more over the top as we welcome Lil Wayne, Diplo, and 2Chainz to the stage!”
As Hollygrove, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz released their sequel to the 2016 original album in November 2023. Narrated by 50 Cent, the album includes hit songs “Long Story Short,” “Oprah and Gayle,” and “Transparency.” The album features Usher, Fabolous, 21 Savage, and Benny The Butcher.
Kelce Jam’s intensity will be live-streamed globally on Travis Kelce and Kelce Jam’s social channels, thanks to Takis®.
