Lil Yachty isn’t a fan of alcohol, so he decided to create his own version—one that actually tastes good to him. The Atlanta rapper expanded his growing business empire with the launch of Yacht Water on February 27th, a tequila seltzer crafted in partnership with Quality Control’s Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Sneaky Pete Spirits.

“I’m sure you guys know I don’t really enjoy alcohol,” Yachty admits in a playful ad promoting the drink. “Honestly, it’s not that I don’t want to, I just don’t like the taste. I wanted something that tastes good, so I made Yacht Water.”

The launch has already caught the attention of fans and celebrities alike, with Justine Skye commenting on Yachty’s Instagram post, “Send me some.” Others praised his latest business move, with one fan writing, “There’s a reason why Boat is my fave artist lmao – dude is a genius!”

For now, Yacht Water is available at select retailers, primarily in the Atlanta area. Given Yachty’s track record with successful brand collaborations, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the drink expand nationwide. Over the years, the rapper has secured major endorsement deals with brands like Target, Sprite, Nautica, Axe, Adidas, and Alexander Wang, proving his ability to blend business with his personal brand.

On the music front, Lil Yachty has been relatively quiet in 2025. His last major release came in 2024 when he teamed up with James Blake for their collaborative album Bad Cameo. While fans wait for new music, Yachty keeps making moves outside the studio. He continues to build his presence in both entertainment and business.
