‘Love & Hip Hop’ Cast Member Khadiyah Lewis Passes Away

Khadiyah Jaleela Lewis, known to many as “KD” from VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, has sadly passed away at the age of 44. Her death occurred on May 30, 2025, and was confirmed by her family and reported by multiple sources.

In an exclusive statement to The Shade Room, Khadiyah’s brother confirmed the passing. “This has been an extremely emotionally devastating time. All prayers, condolences, and well wishes are sincerely appreciated,” her brother Jay told TSR.

Khadiyah gained attention during her time on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, appearing as a supporting cast member in Season 4 and making guest appearances in Season 3 with er relationship with rapper Yung Joc.

Khadiyah’s passing has prompted an outpouring of tributes from fans and friends, many remembering her vibrant personality and the impact she had both on and off the screen. “OH Nooooooo, Khadijah , this is so heartbreaking my condolences to all of her friends, family and loved ones..” shared one fan. “Omggg I loved her cause she ain’t let them play with her..” reacted one fan.

Hey brother, Jay, says, “at this time, we have decided to not discuss anything surrounding her death or why she passed away.” He does offer fans and loved ones the opportunity to join her memorial service on June 14th via Zoom.
