Mario and Ciara are set for an unexpected collaboration, and fans are ecstatic.
The “Let Me Love You” hitmaker revealed the upcoming song while speaking to Revolt’s Ty Cole on the red carpet at the 2025 BET Awards. It is set to appear on Mario’s forthcoming album.
“Me and Ciara are actually working on something together right now,” he told Ty Cole. “It’s something fresh, and it’s a conversation I feel like R&B needs right now. The frequency of the record allows us to speak in ways to the opposite sex that haven’t been spoken about in a long time. She’s in a different place in her life as a woman… and so am I, as I’m experiencing love in a different way. We are going to make a classic.”
Mario and Ciara were two of the biggest stars of the millennium era. Hailing from Baltimore, Mario was 15 years old when he made his debut with “Just A Friend” in 2001. Ciara made her debut with “Goodies” in 2004.
Ciara has not responded to Mario’s claim at the time of this press release. A release date for the collaboration or album has been confirmed.
