His knowledge of the game and relationships in basketball and the community will be a tremendous asset.”

For Miller, the role is personal. “Basketball changed and saved my life,” he said. “Bringing back a winning tradition to NOLA’s Team is my priority, but it’s bigger than the game. It’s about education, leadership, and making sure these student-athletes have the resources and mentorship to succeed on and off the court. UNO is our culture, our community, and our family. It’s time to restore the love and passion for New Orleans basketball.”

Despite his towering success in music, Master P finds his greatest fulfillment in guiding young athletes and giving back. His goal is to uplift the next generation, both in sports and in life.
