Megan Thee Stallion is stepping into the world of K-pop with KPopped, a new Apple TV+ competition series. The Houston rapper will not only appear on the show but also serve as an executive producer alongside a powerhouse team that includes Lionel Richie and Miky Lee. She’s teaming up with none other than PSY, the South Korean artist behind the global hit “Gangnam Style,” for a music battle series that brings Western and K-pop artists together.

The eight-episode show, produced by CJ ENM and Eureka Productions, will feature major artists from both worlds competing in high-energy performances. According to Apple TV+, KPopped will see “western icons reimagine one of their biggest hits, collaborating with top-tier K-pop idols to deliver spectacular battle performances, with a live Seoul-based audience picking the winner of the best new K-popped song.”

Megan Thee Stallion will also hit the stage to perform her chart-topping track “Savage.” The competition will showcase a dynamic mix of talent, but Apple TV+ has yet to reveal which artists will participate.

In addition to Megan, the executive production team includes Moira Ross, Greg Foster, Harry H.K. Shin, Jake Hong, Kiwoong Kim, Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Dening, David Tibballs, and Bruce Eskowitz.

While KPopped is still in early development, anticipation is already building as Megan Thee Stallion and PSY lead this groundbreaking music competition. With a fusion of global superstars and high-stakes performances, the series is set to bring a fresh energy to the scene. Apple TV+ has yet to announce a premiere date, but fans can expect an electrifying showdown when the show finally hits screens.
