As teased, Megan Thee Stallion snakes, slithered and delivered venomous bites to the haters on her anticipated new single, “HISS” released on Friday (Jan. 26).

Produced by Bankrollgotit, Lil Ju, and Source, Megan gets everything off her chest and awaits the response. “I just want to kick this shit off by saying fuck y’all,” She says at the beginning of the track. “I ain’t gotta clear my name on a muthafuckin’ thing. Every time I get mentioned, one of y’all bitch-ass n-ggas get 24 hours of attention. I’m finna get this shit off my chest and lay it to rest. Let’s go!”

It is well known that Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj have had a feud, and Megan bites Nicki first in her song. Megan attacks Nicki Minaj by rapping about her husband’s sexual assault case. On Kenny Petty, Megan raps: “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law/ I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start.”

Outside Nicki, others to get bitten are Megan’s ex-boyfriend Pradison Fontaine and the blogs as Megan raps: “Allegations from the opposition, b***h n***as just eating it up/These blogs get paid to lie, y’all talk s**t and be broke as f**k,” she raps on the second verse. “Bottom line is I’m still rich, do Megan bad and I’m still good/Bringing up who I might’ve f**ked and the bottom line they still would.”

“HISS” adds to the serpent concept of her new image and upcoming album. Megan released her previous single “Corba,” which marked her return to music following the Tory Lanez trial

After signing a new deal with Warner last month, Megan plans to release new music in 2024 as part of a new era.

Megan joined Ebro in the Morning in 2020 where she talked about her label issues, dating history, and more with Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez.
