In front of a jam-packed crowd at Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield on Friday, Aug 12th, rapper Megan Thee Stallion performed several songs on “Good Morning America” and “GMA3: What You Need To Know,” as part of the Summer Concert Series. In addition to her hits ‘Body’ and ‘Savage Remix,’ she performed ‘Pressurelicious’ and ‘Her’ from her new album Traumazine.
Watch Megan perform her new single ‘Pressurelicious’ here:
Traumazine is the Houston rapper’s sophomore album. Guest features include Rico Nasty, Latto, Key Glock, Pooh Shiesty, Jhené Aiko, Dua Lipa (“Sweetest Pie”), and Future (“Pressurelicious”). On August 5th, the Hot Girl rapper shared a cryptic Instagram post explaining the definition of ‘traumazine’: the chemical released in the brain when it is forced to deal with painful emotions caused by traumatic events and experiences.”
The rapper, who performed on “Good Morning America”‘s Summer Concert Series, told “GMA” that not only was this album “a whole new experience” for her, but she wanted to give her fans — called Hotties — a chance to get to know her on a deeper level.
Megan Thee Stallion said she was “nervous” to make this album because she talks about her “real feelings” on it, telling the Summer Concert Series crowd that, “just to know that y’all really rocking with me like this and I could be myself, it makes me feel really good.”
