NLE Choppa is stepping into a new chapter—literally. The rapper has completely shaved his head, debuting a bald look in what is now the only post on his Instagram. In the first slide, he’s seen sitting in a barber chair with a fresh shave, while the second photo shows a shoebox filled with what appears to be his cut hair.
On the lid of the box, he left a handwritten note addressed to his “past self,” reflecting on the journey that led him to this moment. “Note to past self: Thank you, your efforts didn’t go in vain in any shape or form. Your hard work towards getting in alignment is the reason why I am able to write this as of now,” he wrote. “Even though it was rough, literally hard at times, and tough was the journey, I can proudly say it was worth it.”
He continued, “A chapter of my life is closing. The restoration’s end = a chapter in my life is beginning — ‘The One.’ Only way for me to fully abide by the word of the most high is to detach from the old to welcome in the new. I am honored, I am grateful, & I am ready. I am made. Whole. All praises be to Allah. Thank you Bryson… AMEEN.”
He signed the message “Bryson / The Great / The Mariah / NewGrowth / #2 / THE END!”
While the post was deeply spiritual, Choppa made it clear he’s still keeping his foot on the gas musically. The caption read: “All Praises To The Most High. DISS SONG 8 PM CT.” Though the target remains unknown, fans are already speculating who the diss might be aimed at.
