Today in history, the entire Northeast experienced a power outage dubbed the “Blackout” of 2003.
For those of us who experienced it first hand, it was two miserable days of living on candles, flashlights, PB&J, and sweltering heat.
Most of the Northeast got back their power in two days while others waited upwards of a week to get it back.
Here are some songs to take you back to that moment in time and we apologize in advance for any bad “Blackout” memories that might come from it:
