Offset has deactivated his social media accounts following a series of emotional and contentious posts related to his estranged wife Cardi B and her new relationship with NFL star Stefon Diggs.
The situation seemingly escalated when Diggs was seen sporting braids identical to those of Offset and Cardi B’s 3-year-old son, Wave. Offset reacted strongly on X (formerly Twitter), posting, “Now when somebody die for playing with my son then call me the crash out,” and “Idc how I look trolling wit my kid ends bad.” Shortly after these posts, he deactivated both his X and Instagram accounts.
This incident follows Cardi B’s public confirmation of her relationship with Diggs, which she made official on Instagram over the Memorial Day weekend. The couple’s relationship reportedly began in late 2024, a few months after Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset while pregnant with their third child, Blossom.
In a recent X Spaces session, Cardi B accused Offset of being an absentee father. “Word to my mother.. I want you to die but I want you to die slow. Let me tell y’all something, when I first filed for divorce, this n*gga started spazzing.”
