Offset speaks out after he was shot and wounded in a shooting last Monday near a popular Florida destination.
The incident occurred in the vicinity of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, leaving the former Migos member hospitalized as authorities begin a preliminary investigation into the violence.
A representative for the rapper confirmed the shooting on Tuesday morning and provided a brief update on his status. “We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care,” the representative said.
Following the incident, Offset thanked his fans for all the love and support. “Thank you to everyone who’s checked in on me and showed me love! I’m good… but I’m planning to be better!”
“I’m focused on my family, my recovery and getting back to the music..realizing that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses..” the statement continued.
“Life is a gamble and I’m playing to win.”
