Offset will release his forthcoming solo album, Kiari, on August 22, just weeks before his former partner, Cardi B, unveils her highly anticipated project, Am I the Drama?, scheduled for September 19. The announcement, made via social media on Monday evening, included the album’s cover art and full tracklist, quickly stirring anticipation among fans.

According to reporting from Kurrco, Kiari features a wide-ranging lineup of collaborators, including NBA YoungBoy, YFN Lucci, Gunna, JID, Teezo Touchdown, John Legend, and Ty Dolla $ign. Fans responded with a mix of enthusiasm and skepticism. “I can’t wait for that track with YFN Lucci,” one user posted to X (formerly Twitter). Another wrote, “Offset and Gunna need to stop teasing and just release that collaboration already.” Not all reactions were positive, with one commenter asking, “Do other rappers not mess with him? What’s up with these features?” Another added wryly, “Teezo Touchdown, government mandated feature.”

Kiari marks Offset’s first full-length project since Set It Off (2023), which reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and featured guest appearances from Cardi B, Travis Scott, Future, and Latto. This next chapter positions Offset firmly in solo territory, with a fresh sound and a carefully curated roster of artists to match.

A Public Split, A Private Shift

Notably absent from the album is Cardi B. The couple, married in 2017 and officially divorced in 2024, had previously appeared on each other’s records. With Kiari, Offset steps out alone—musically and personally—for the first time since the separation.

Cardi is currently preparing to release Am I the Drama?, her first project since Invasion of Privacy. Her personal life has also taken a new turn. This summer, she was seen publicly with Stefon Diggs, wide receiver for the New England Patriots. The pair drew attention after being photographed together on a Miami yacht, igniting headlines and fan speculation alike.

Offset, responding to the relationship chatter, weighed in with a touch of irony. “Good roll out n PR. Today I pass,” he wrote on X. Diggs responded in kind, sharing a photo of himself catching a football with the caption: “We good over here, I caught her.”
