Prayers up!

We previously reported that, former Glee actress, Naya Rivera, went missing Wednesday, July 8 while on a boat ride with her son Josey. Reportedly, the actress rented a motorized pontoon boat for three hours on Wednesday at Lake Piru near Los Angeles. When she was 30 minutes overdue to return the boat, personnel went searching for the vessel.

The department said in a statement, “They found her boat adrift with Naya’s 4-year-old son asleep on the boat and Naya was nowhere to be found. This is an active investigation. It is believed that Naya and her son were swimming in the lake near the boat and as they were getting back into the boat, her son made it into the boat and Naya went underwater and did not resurface.”

As the search for Naya continues, the 911 call which sparked the investigation has been released.  “Lake Piru, emergency is we have a missing person,” the woman on the phone told the dispatcher. “We found a little girl in one of the boats by herself and her mom’s nowhere to be found.” The woman mistakenly called Naya’s 4-year-old son a girl, but she wasn’t able to provide anymore information.
