Raphael Saadiq Signs With Forward Artist Management After “Texas Hold’Em”

Raphael Saadiq signs a new management deal with Forward Artist after a hot streak including Grammy win and chart-topping success with Beyonce’s new country songs.

 “Raphael is one-of-one. He’s been making history, creating some of the biggest musical moments of the last thirty years,” says Tyler Childs of Forward Artist Management. “He continues to write and rewrite the playbook on what an elite artist, producer, songwriter, and creative is. The entire FAM team is thrilled to support him and excited to get to work.”

Saadiq collaborated with Beyonce on her recent singles “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages,” both of which he co-wrote and produced. He also won a Grammy last year for Best R&B Song for Beyonce’s “Cuff It,” which he co-wrote and produced on the album Renaissance.

Raphael Saadiq is best known as the lead singer in the legendary band  Tony! Toni! Toné!. His resume includes collaborations with Stevie Wonder, Usher, Mary J. Blige, and many more. Saaqid’s biggest hits are “Anniversary,” “You,” and “It Never Rains In Southern California.”

Forward Artist manages RZA and The Wu-Tang Clan, who recently launched their residency at the Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. Childs has represented RZA for 15 years. Other managed artists include Benjamin Booker, Tyler Cole, and Sarah Cothran.

Tyler Childs previously served as Vice President of A&R/Creative at Sony ATV Music Publishing, working with a roster of A-list artists and songwriters, including Ilsey Juber, Shawn Mendes, Mark Ronson, Miley Cyrus, Walk The Moon, Imagine Dragons, and Pitbull.
