Rapper Desiigner, whose legal name is Sidney Royel Selby III, has been arrested again in South Carolina on a second-degree domestic violence charge and three felony property damage counts, according to county jail records.

Selby was booked Tuesday afternoon and remained in custody as of the latest available records. Court documents indicate he faces one count of second-degree domestic violence and three counts of malicious injury to animals or personal property involving alleged damages between $2,000 and $10,000.

The allegations underlying the charges have not been publicly disclosed, and authorities have not released an incident report identifying the alleged victim or describing the events that led to Selby’s arrest.

Court records show no bond has been set on the domestic violence charge or two of the felony property damage counts. A judge set a $1,500 bond on the remaining property damage charge.

The new case follows a separate South Carolina domestic violence prosecution filed earlier this year. In that matter, Selby was charged with third-degree domestic violence after an alleged dispute involving the mother of his child.

According to a police report in the earlier case, the woman alleged Selby grabbed her during an argument, tore her sweatpants and threw her to the ground. He was later released after posting a $1,500 bond. That prosecution remains separate from the newly filed charges.

Selby has also faced federal criminal proceedings. In 2023, he was charged with indecent exposure following an incident aboard an international flight returning to the United States.

Neither Selby nor his legal counsel had publicly responded to the latest allegations at the time of publication.

The South Carolina charges remain allegations, and prosecutors bear the burden of proving them beyond a reasonable doubt. Selby is presumed innocent unless and until convicted in court.

Additional details are expected to emerge through future court filings and law enforcement disclosures as the criminal proceedings advance. Until then, the basis for the domestic violence and property damage allegations remains unclear from the publicly available record.
