Yung Miami’s solo breakthrough continues to gain momentum as the rapper prepares to bring her summer anthem “Spend Dat” to one of hip-hop’s biggest stages. HOT 97 announced that the former City Girls star has joined the lineup for Summer Jam 2026, capping a remarkable run for the chart-climbing single.
The influential New York radio station revealed the news on social media, writing, “Just Announced: the hottest artist with the song of the summer, Yung Miami, is going to be on that Summer Jam stage!!!” DJ Funk Flex later echoed the announcement on Instagram, while organizers teased that more performers and surprise guests will be unveiled before the July 24 event at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The booking follows a milestone stretch for “Spend Dat,” which recently earned Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America after surpassing 500,000 units in the United States. The achievement marks Yung Miami’s first Gold-certified single as a solo artist and her fastest to reach the milestone.

The record has also become the highest-charting solo release of her career. Powered by a booming production from Grammy-winning producer J. White Did It, “Spend Dat” climbed to No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100. It gives the Miami native her strongest performance yet on the all-genre chart.
Yung Miami celebrated the accomplishment with an emotional message to fans on Instagram.
“My Crew THANK YOU!!!!!” she wrote. “Yall are doing yall biggest one for me! I appreciate my day Ones and everybody new that’s rocking with me!!!!! WOW BITCHHHHHHHH A GOLD SINGLE IN over 2 months. Sesssshhhhh.”
The single’s accompanying video, featuring appearances from Trina, Trick Daddy, Ball Greezy and NeNe Leakes, further amplified the song’s momentum and highlighted Yung Miami’s hometown roots.
