A federal grand jury indictment unsealed April 28 charges Pooh Shiesty, Big30, and several co-defendants in an alleged kidnapping and extortion plot targeting Gucci Mane, according to court filings attributed to an FBI investigation led by Ryan Raybould.

The 18-page indictment alleges that Lontrell Williams Jr. and Rodney Wright Jr. orchestrated a coordinated scheme to abduct the Atlanta artist, compel a contract release, and obtain valuables. Prosecutors say the conspiracy spanned early January through Jan. 13, 2026, forming the basis of Count One, which charges conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

Counts Two through Four charge substantive kidnapping and extortion, including aiding and abetting liability. Count Five accuses Demarcus Glover, Darrion McDaniel, Terrance Rodgers, and Damarian Gipson of transporting stolen goods across state lines. The government also seeks forfeiture of proceeds and assets tied to the alleged offenses.

According to the indictment, the defendants targeted Gucci Mane and two associates “for ransom, benefit and control over business interests.”

Prosecutors allege that Williams, known as Pooh Shiesty, lured the artist to a Dallas recording studio under a false business pretext linked to a 1017 contract. The filing further alleges he forced Gucci Mane to sign a contract release at gunpoint. It also claims that Big30 supplied a firearm and recorded the incident.

The indictment outlines potential penalties, including significant prison exposure if convictions are secured. It also invokes federal forfeiture statutes, allowing authorities to seize assets derived from the alleged conduct or substitute property of equivalent value.

Counsel for the defendants was not immediately identified in the filing. No pleas were entered at the time of unsealing. The case is expected to proceed through initial appearances and detention hearings in federal court. The allegations could result in potential life imprisonment.

Pooh Shiesty, Big30, and the 7 other defendants’ next appearance in court remains unknown at the moment.
