R&B singer Ray J remains under medical observation in Las Vegas after a frightening knockout during Adin Ross’ Brand Risk 14 event.

The entertainer suffered the loss against internet comedian Supa Hot Fire on May 23 during a highly publicized amateur MMA matchup at UFC Apex. According to reports, Ray J checked himself into a Las Vegas hospital roughly two hours after the fight ended.

Doctors are reportedly monitoring the 45-year-old for a possible concussion and signs of bradycardia, a condition linked to an abnormally slow heart rate.

The medical scare quickly sparked concern online because of Ray J’s previously disclosed health struggles. Earlier this year, he spoke openly during emotional Instagram Live broadcasts about serious heart complications and years of substance abuse affecting his physical condition.

At the time, Ray J revealed his heart was functioning at approximately 25 percent capacity.

Despite those concerns, the singer agreed to participate in one of the internet’s most talked-about crossover fights through BrandRisk Promotions.

The opening round unfolded cautiously. Ray J moved forward carefully while Supa Hot Fire entertained the crowd by dancing around the cage and avoiding extended exchanges. Neither fighter landed significant strikes early.

The momentum shifted fast in round two.

Ray J appeared more aggressive and pressed forward with body shots before Supa Hot Fire landed a clean right hook to the head. The punch sent Ray J stumbling backward into the ropes before he collapsed onto the canvas.

Although he managed to stand, the singer appeared visibly dazed while sitting in his corner. Officials quickly stopped the bout and ruled the fight a technical knockout victory for Supa Hot Fire.

Clips of the knockout spread rapidly across X, Instagram, and TikTok within hours.

The incident also renewed debate surrounding medical safety standards in influencer boxing and crossover combat events. Many fans questioned whether Ray J should have competed considering his recent medical history.

Neither Supa Hot Fire nor streamer Adin Ross publicly addressed Ray J’s hospitalization beyond initial reactions following the fight.

As of Tuesday, Ray J remained under medical care while supporters continued sharing messages of concern across social media.
