Ray J’s ongoing health battle has taken a turn for the worse.
According to TMZ, along with receiving a bevy of new medications, Ray J could need a heart defibrillator. He told the outlet that doctors have given him just months to live. The singer recently broke his silence about his recent health struggles via social media. “2027 is definitely a wrap for me,” he said in a clip that’s surfaced online. Ray J then went into further detail about the condition of his heart, saying that it’s “mostly black.”
In Ray’s opinion, his drug and alcohol usage greatly contributed to the situation he is in now. “I f*cked up,” he continued.” You know why? Becuase I think I thought that I was a bigger n*gga…[So] I could handle all the alcohol, I could handle all the adderall, all the drugs, I could handle everything, but I couldn’t.”

Recently, Ray J made a startling revelation regarding his current health status.
A few weeks back, Ray J landed in the hospital after experiencing severe pneumonia and heart pain. Now, after being released, the singer is breaking his silence. According to the Love & Hip Hop alum, his heart is only working at 25% capacity. “My heart’s only beating like 25%, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, then everything will be all right. So thank you for all your prayers,” Ray J said in an Instagram video.
Along with offering a health update, Ray J also promoted his reality TV streaming service, Tronix Network. The new network is in partnership with Zeus. “Big announcements are on the way. Tronix Network is back in full effect,” he says.
