The red carpet is one of my favorite parts of the Oscars to watch, aside from the actual ceremony itself.
Last night, the best of Hollywood showed off their style and grace in a variety of gorgeous looks at the 90th Academy Awards but these are the ones that took the cake for me:
Zendaya can do no wrong when it comes to fashion. Her overall look is gorgeous. I think this is the first time I’ve seen a chocolate brown dress on the carpet but I could be wrong. Dress by Giambattista Valli Couture. (Photo Credit: Kevin Mazur/Getty Images)
Jane The Virgin’s Gina Rodriguez stunned all! in one of my favorite designers, Zuhair Murad . (Photo Credit: Jeff Kravitz/Frazer Harrison/Getty Images)
Viola Davis was pretty in pink in this Michael Kors number. It hugged her in the perfect places and looked beautiful on her skin. It’s hard to pull off a bright pink but Viola did it perfectly. From the hoops to the hairstyle, this is a side to Ms. Davis we all aren’t used to seeing! (Photo by Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic)
We can thank Reem Acra for this old Hollywood turned modern day Hollywood red gown Allison Janney wore to the Oscars. I love how it gives you the vintage feel but still contemporary. The Best Supporting Actress winner was also decked out in $4 million worth of diamonds. (Photo by Frazer Harrison/Getty Images)
Armani Prive knew what they were doing when they put this esquisite dress on Nicole Kidman. The navy blue pops on her and it reminds me of one of the best looks ever on the Oscars red carpet when Nicole wore the red dress with the red bow. (Photo by Steve Granitz/WireImage)
Lupita Nyong’o never disappoints. She is the epitome of fashion and came to slay last night. She wore a gorgeous gold Atelier Versace gown and had her braided in a traditional Rwandan hairstyle called the Amasunzu. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images)
Chanel loves Margot Robbie, by that I mean the dress. The white, off the shoulder look is a statement in itself. Simple hairstyle worked so well with this. (Photo by Kevin Mazur/WireImage)
Sandra Bullock reminded me of what an Oscar would like if “Oscar” was “Oscarette.” The gold and black splash design on this Louis Vuitton dress was A-1 in my book. (Photo by Kevin Mazur/WireImage)
Wonder Woman oozed old Hollywood glamour in this Givenchy fringed silver number. Gal Gadot reminded me of a ’40’s starlet. (Photo by Frazer Harrison/Getty Images)

Taraji P. Henson left nothing to the imagination. She served up the sexy in an elegant way in this Vera Wang. (Photo by Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic)
