Remy Ma seemed to be having a good day!
The Bronx rapper officially had the charges against her dropped when she appeared in a Manhattan court today, (12/2/2019). Remy Ma was facing assault and other charges for allegedly punching Love and Hip-Hop co-star, Brittney Taylor in the face.
According to Taylor, the incident took place a benefit concert at Irving Plaza last April. The Daily News reports that due to “conflicting evidence in the case and accounts of the night’s events provided by witnesses unaffiliated with Smith or Taylor raised one question too many and made their case impossible to prove.”
Assistant District Attorney Juan Maldonado stated “After a thorough, months-long investigation, the people are moving to dismiss this case. We cannot prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.”
Remy Ma responded to the news on her Instagram. See the post below.
