The countdown begins!

Black Panther had an everlasting impact on African-American culture. For the first time ever, little black boys and girls have their own superhero that they can identify with. The film even made history, reaching the billion dollar mark at the box office.

Now fans can enjoy the sequel! Talks of a Black Panther II was in the air but now it’s really happening. Ryan Coogler signed a deal to begin writing the sequel in 2019. News reports claim that production will begin toward the end of 2019 or early 2020, depending on the produtction of other Disney and Marvel films.

Rumors circulated earlier this year that Donald Glover could star in the sequel. Would you want to see Childish Gambino play in the superhero movie?

The Oscar-nominated movie director has a lot up his sleeves. Coogler is also executive producing the Space Jam sequel as well as Creed 2.
