After a credit card snafu at a restaurant in Milan, Snoop Dogg paid its owners back in an epic way. The rapper—who’s serving as a special correspondent for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina —apparently stopped by Cronoz, a gastropub located in Livingo, for some takeout. According to Sofia Valmadre, the daughter of the restaurant’s owners, the rapper had a massive order, which included a cheeseburger, chicken wings, chicken nuggets, and French fries. However, when it came time for him to pay up, the rapper’s credit card declined.
“He sent his staff to take [the card] and pay, but they couldn’t pay. I don’t know why, it wasn’t going,” Valmadre said. “So my mother told him that it was OK [to take the food] without paying.” Not long after, Snoop returned to the restaurant with a big surprise: five free tickets to the men’s snowboard halfpipe final.

On a more sour note, last week Snoop Dogg’s Milan trip took an unexpected turn after a backstage encounter between his security team and Dutch speed skating champion Marianne Timmer. The incident reportedly occurred at the Milano Speed Skating Stadium following the men’s 1000-meter race. Timmer said she was waiting in a hallway to speak with athletes when a member of the rapper’s security detail approached. What she described as a routine moment quickly became tense.
In an interview with Sportnieuws, Timmer said she was pushed while standing against a wall. “I was standing against a wall, and one of the security guards pushed me even closer,” she said. “I said, ‘Just act normal’, it’s a really wide hall, about four metres. But then the guy came back and I said, ‘What? Do I have to go through that wall or something?’” She indicated that the hallway had ample space and that she did not understand the need for force.
