Snoop Dogg To Host ‘NFL Honors’

Snoop Dogg can do it all and is starting 2025 off with a bang.

PEOPLE reports that the hip-hop icon will host “NFL Honors.” Presented by Invisalign, the event will take place on Thursday, Feb. 6, at the Saenger Theater in New Orleans. Each year, the primetime awards special recognizes “the NFL’s best players, performances, and plays from the 2024 season ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl.”

In an official statement, the NFL lauded Snoop for his accomplishments as an entertainer and his philanthropic work.

“In entertainment industry mogul, Snoop Dogg has reigned for nearly three decades as an unparalleled force, consistently raising the bar as a globally recognized innovator,” the statement read. “Over the course of his storied music career, Snoop Dogg has released 21 studio albums, sold more than 40 million albums worldwide, reached #1 countless times on Billboard charts internationally, and received 20 Grammy Award nominations. He recently served as a coach on NBC’s four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series “The Voice.”

“As a philanthropist, Snoop Dogg launched the Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL) 17 years ago that has since seen more than 40 kids make it to the NFL. As part of the SYFL, Snoop Special Stars ensures that kids with any physical, mental, or developmental disabilities also participate,” the statement continued.

Along with being a legendary rapper, Snoop has been expanding his brand in the world of sports. Over the summer, he served as a correspondent at the Paris Summer Olympics in 2024 representing NBC Sports.

Most recently, he was the sponsor for the 2024 Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl, which featured a 43-17 victory for Miami Ohio over Colorado State.

On the music side, Snoop released his latest album Missionary in December which was produced by Dr. Dre.
