Things are not looking too good for Brooklyn rapper, Tekashi 6ix9ine.
As the rapper prepares to finally get sentenced following a year in prison and cooperating with the feds- he is still facing over 30 years behind bars.
We previously reported that the rapper had hopes of getting his sentence reduced. He wrote a letter to the judge which shows remorse for his actions, and a whole lot of regret. At this point, the reduced sentence doesn’t seem too practical.
According to reports, in a court document it states, ”The defendant’s mandatory minimum term of incarceration would be 37 years’ imprisonment.”
Prosecutors have decided on such a long sentence because, 6ix9ine was already on probation for a sexual misconduct charge while running with the Nine Trey Bloods.
