Teyana Taylor’s Heated Oscars Red Carpet Confrontation Goes Viral

Singer, actress, and creative director Teyana Taylor found herself trending online after a tense moment on the red carpet at the Academy Awards.

During the star-studded arrivals outside the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Taylor appeared to get into a heated exchange while walking the carpet. Cameras captured the Harlem native pausing mid-appearance and turning toward someone off camera, where she appeared visibly frustrated while speaking intensely during the brief interaction.

While it remains unclear exactly what prompted the confrontation, clips from the moment quickly began circulating online. In the viral clips you hear T.T. saying,  “cause you’re a man putting your hands on a female. You’re very rude.” She then said to someone else, “he literally shoved me.”

According to TMZ, sources say as Teyana was making her way back to the stage alongside Pam Abdi, a security guard allegedly attempted to stop them from going up the stairs, resulting in the confrontation.

Despite the brief tension, Taylor continued with her red carpet appearance, posing for photos and interacting with reporters shortly afterward. “One Battle After Another,” in which Teyanna starred in, won the final Oscar of the night for Best Picture.
