One of The Simpson’s classic episodes has been pulled.

The release of HBO’s two-part docuseries Leaving Neverland in which James Safechuck and Wade Robson detailed their alleged experiences, friendship and sexual history with Michael Jackson has led to lots of conversation and some backlash worldwide.

Its release has allowed some radio stations  across the globe to stop playing Michael Jackson music, and now more recently The Simpsons decision to pull a 1991 episode which featured a cartoon version of Michael Jackson as he sang “Happy Birthday” to Lisa.

“Stark Raving Dad” which includes the catchy tune will no longer be available in future airings of the show, along with any future Simpson’s box sets. It was sung by voice actor Kipp Lennon.

Executive producer James L. Brooks gave his explanation to the Wall Street Journal. “It feels clearly the only choice to make,” he said. “The guys I work with — where we spend our lives arguing over jokes — were of one mind on this.”
