A private Instagram message exchange with HittaJ3 and Top5 surfaced online following a couple of cryptic posts directed at Drake. The leaked screenshot arrived only hours after Top5 appeared to react to Drake promoting Pressa’s new album Press Machine II on Instagram.
Drake posted an IG Story with Pressa’s cover art and the caption, “New Machine out now,” followed by three ice-cube emojis. Pressa and Top5 have been rivals for years. Top5 was one of Drake’s most prominent voices during the Kendrick Lamar beef in 2024.
Soon after Drake’s post, Top5 shared his own IG Story. He uploaded an image of Kendrick Lamar holding five Grammy Awards while “Not Like Us” plays. His caption said, “Chuneee,” followed by a teary-eyed emoji and a radio emoji.
The timing raised eyebrows. The issues between Top5 and Drake were unknown. Many users took the story as a direct shot at Drake and a symbolic nod to Kendrick’s side of their long-running feud.

Top5 responded with, “My dawg what uppp.” HittaJ3 then wrote, “What’s hannin gang you see how shit be.” He added, “Stay true to you.”
The encouragement seemed to hit a nerve. Top5 replied, “Mann that nail polish guy a weirdo frfr,” ending the message with a teary-eyed emoji.
The comments fueled speculation about Top5’s feelings toward Drake. Fans pointed out that Top5 seemed frustrated and blindsided by Drake’s support for Pressa’s project.
