The legal case between Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion continues.

Tory hasn’t reached a plea deal in his felony assault case against Megan in the latest update reported on Rolling Stone.  The article reports he’ll have to face live testimony next month. He had a court date today (Nov. 3), and is scheduled to go back on Dec. 14 for a preliminary hearing. The publication points out the hearing is necessary to take the case to trial.

On July 12, 2020, Tory shot at Megan’s feet at around 4:30 a.m. in California. Before the incident, the two got in an argument, its not clear what the argument was about. Tory was later hit with two felony charges, one for assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered gun in a vehicle. RS adds he’s facing another allegation of “personally inflicted great bodily injury.”

Tory is facing up to 22 years and eight months in prison if convicted. He made bail for $190,000. This summer, he violated his criminal restraining order when he appeared at Rolling Loud in Miami when Meg was on stage after DaBaby brought him out as a surprise guest.

Last year, when speaking on the situation, Megan said, “I was shot in both of my feet, and I had to get surgery to get the shit taken out, get the bullets taken out. It was super scary. It was, like, just the worst experience of my life.”
