According to reports, Travis Scott enlisted his mother, Wanda Webster, to share the spotlight in the latest campaign for his Cactus Jack x Jordan CJ1 T-Rexx collaboration.

Unveiled this weekend, the ad features the duo in a blend of striking visuals, showcasing both the sneaker line’s bold design and their family connection. In an Instagram post, Travis wrote, “look mom I can run tooo.” The official Cactus Jack account shared an accompanying video.

Marking a monumental shift, Travis Scott has officially surpassed Kendrick Lamar, setting a new benchmark with the highest-grossing solo hip-hop tour to date.

Billboard reports that his Circus Maximus Tour, concluding in November 2024, earned nearly $210 million and drew 1.7 million fans worldwide. In support of his chart-topping album UTOPIA, Travis embarked on a global tour, performing 78 shows across four continents. This massive run eclipses the previous high set by Kendrick Lamar’s Big Steppers Tour, which grossed $110 million.

Travis Scott’s Tour Earnings Climb

Despite having the highest-grossing rap tour, Travis still trails behind peers such as Drake, J. Cole, and 21 Savage, whose joint “It’s All A Blur” tour garnered a staggering $320 million. The surge in hip-hop tours has been undeniable, with 50 Cent and Nicki Minaj also commanding the stage on international tours that have each surpassed $100 million in earnings. Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 tour etched its name in history, marking her as the first female rapper to surpass $100 million in revenue from a single tour. This milestone also positioned her among an elite group of Black women—joining the ranks of Beyoncé, SZA, Rihanna, and Tina Turner—who have achieved this monumental financial success.

Travis Scott’s Circus Maximus Tour marked his first global tour in five years since the Astroworld – Wish You Were Here Tour. That run, spanning 57 dates, raked in over $63 million, but his latest tour has seen him more than triple that figure despite playing just 21 additional shows. Far from resting after such a massive undertaking, Travis is already set for next year’s Coachella. Known for hits like “Sicko Mode,” the rapper will not only perform but also curate the festival, “Travis Scott Designs The Desert,” which will take place over two weekends, April 11-13 and April 18-20.
