Ye alleges that a new lawsuit filed against him by his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, is an extortion attempt with false allegations.
The lawsuit was publicly announced on Monday, June 3, in a report by TMZ. The ex-assistant alleged sexual harassment and wrongful termination by the mogul. Ye’s legal rep responded to the lawsuit on Tuesday with plans to counter-sue Pisciotta, claiming her lawsuit was made on “baseless allegations.”
“In response to these baseless allegations, the Graduation creator will be filing a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta, who actively pursued him sexually to coerce employment and other material benefits, then engaged in blackmail and extortion when her advances were rejected.”
Ye’s representative alleges that Pisciotta took Kanye’s phone to destroy evidence contradicting her narrative. As for wrongful termination, Ye’s rep claims she was terminated for being unqualified, allegedly demanding a $4 million salary, and engaging in “lascivious, unhinged conduct.”
The mogul’s rep accuses Pisciotta of sending the mogul’s nudes and sexual solicitations herself and makes various demands, such as Birkin bags and a Lamborgini. According to Ye’s representative, the previous assistant resorted to blackmail and extortion.
Court documents report that Ye hired Pisciotta in 2021. She claims to have contributed to a few songs on Ye’s Donda album that same year. When contacted by the media, Pisciotta and her representatives did not respond to Ye’s extortion claims.
