Ye‘s passion for gaming has become a central part of his life, and he’s brought his wife, Bianca Censori, into the fold.
According to an insider, the rapper finds gaming far more captivating than romance, making it his go-to way to unwind. “Ye is basically a video game addict, and he’s perfectly content with that,” the source shares.
A devoted fan of Nintendo—especially the Switch—West also has a deep love for VR gaming, which allows him to immerse himself in virtual worlds for hours. “He gets completely lost in it, chasing high scores and exploring new realms, often losing track of time,” the insider adds.
The 47-year-old reportedly never leaves home without his gaming gear, always packing consoles and a VR headset for trips. “Gaming is more than a hobby for him; it’s his version of a perfect escape,” they explain, noting that anyone close to Kanye has to embrace his digital playground.
Luckily for him, Bianca shares his enthusiasm. “Bianca is totally on board,” the source continues. “She jumps in whenever she can, and even Ye’s kids enjoy it.”
West’s four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian—have embraced their dad’s hobby, making it a family affair.

The couple tied the knot in December 2022, just a month after Kanye finalized his divorce from Kim. Despite rumors of a split in October, when Kanye was seen without Bianca and reports suggested she might return to Australia while he planned to settle in Tokyo, the two were spotted together in Tokyo shortly after, seemingly putting the speculation to rest. In a video shared by TMZ, the pair appeared affectionate while riding an escalator at a mall. Neither has publicly addressed the rumors.
An insider later told In Touch that Bianca has been advocating for a more grounded and stable life with Kanye. Whether their gaming sessions are part of that vision or simply a shared passion, it’s clear that gaming remains a cornerstone of Kanye’s personal and family life.
