Rapper Yung Miami plans to follow up the success of her new hit, “Spend Dat,” her first song under a new contract with Uptown Records, with a Sean “Diddy” Combs-sampled single, according to a new viral social media post.

On Thursday, June 26, the former City Girls rapper shared a 10-second video on X featuring the unreleased track, which sampled the `1998 Diddy classic, “Victory.” The clip quickly gained traction as fans reacted to both the music and her bold look.

Diddy and Yung Miami had an on again-off again relationship before the hip-hop mogul was arrested and charged on trafficking charges. Yung Miami was featured on Diddy’s last album, Love.

In the video, Yung Miami walks through a hotel hallway wearing a matching leather-red bra and skin-tight leather jeans. As the beat drops, she removes a red leather jacket and delivers a self-assured verse that matches the energy of her caption.

“You in 1st Place🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 #VictoryLap,” she wrote.

The lyrics echo that winning mentality. In a time when Yung Miami’s new single is arguably the “song of the summer.”

“You the birthday / you the main character / you in first place / And you caked up / Got my opps down bad in the worst way,” she raps, turning “Spend Dat” into an anthem about confidence, success and living unapologetically.

The teaser sparked immediate reactions across X. Some fans praised the rollout, while others debated where Yung Miami stands among today’s rap stars.

Another supporter, @velarthedon, predicted critics would eventually embrace the song.

“The same people in the comments acting shitty going to be the same people bumping this song just like they did spend dat,” the user wrote.

X user @RandellMatthe10 even compared the teaser to one of Miami’s most recognizable solo records.

“🫶🏽 I think I like this more then ‘Rap Freaks,’” the fan commented.

With “Spend Dat,” Yung Miami appears ready to launch the next chapter of her solo career. If early reactions are any indication, fans are eager to hear what comes next.
