Yung Miami is pushing back hard against critics who accused her of inappropriate behavior for attending Shedeur Sanders’ NFL Draft after-party. The rapper, 30, addressed the backlash in a blunt tweet that quickly went viral: “Y’all btches don’t know what ‘supporting your ppl’ look like!!!! Everything ain’t dck & p*ssy!!!!!”

The criticism stems from Miami’s appearance at Sanders’ post-draft celebration, where some social media users suggested she was trying to romantically pursue the 22-year-old Colorado quarterback and son of NFL legend Deion Sanders. The age gap and the intimate nature of a draft party led some to speculate about her intentions, even though no public signs of a romantic connection were evident.

Yung Miami, born Caresha Brownlee, seemed fed up with the constant policing of her presence in social spaces—especially when it involves high-profile men. Her tweet pushed back against the idea that a woman’s support of a man in the public eye must automatically be sexual or self-serving. She framed her attendance as simply showing love to someone in her extended circle, likely referring to her broader industry or cultural ties to the Sanders family.

The viral moment also highlights a recurring theme in Miami’s public life: defending her autonomy and right to move freely without every appearance being sexualized or misinterpreted. She’s long navigated public scrutiny over her personal life, particularly during her relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs.

While Shedeur has yet to address the online chatter, Miami’s clapback signals a deeper frustration with how women—especially Black women in entertainment—are often viewed through a hypersexual lens. In her words, support doesn’t always equal seduction. Sometimes, it’s just showing up. And for Yung Miami, that was reason enough to speak out.
