It’s always exciting when DaBaby drops by HOT 97!
This morning (Oct. 25), DaBaby joined the crew of Ebro In The Morning to talk about the world of drama surrounding the Charlotte-based rapper.
He also talks about keeping his composure despite dealing with the pressure of the streets and superstardom, as well as rumors coming from Akademiks that he was being blackballed on streaming platforms which resulted in alleged low streaming numbers.
DaBaby talks about everything from his Danileigh drama to his come up. He shares stories about going to SXSW before his music blew up and about playing shows to 15 people. He also speaks about reports that a show had to get cancelled after only selling 500 tickets.
DaBaby has come a long way since infiltrating SXSW to get noticed.
The budding superstar explains that he drops new albums every six months and intends to stay on that grind.
The Cleveland, Ohio native will be performing at Irving Plaza on November 3 as part of his nationwide tour.
His latest project, Baby On Baby 2 is streaming now.
